FX Trader - Francophone at Zepz. Location Information: Africa. About the role. You will be a member of the BizDev & FX team at Zepz. The role holder will be responsible for developing and managing the firm's FX activities, opportunities and exposures in the Francophone West Africa region. The role will be split between trading & execution and business development.. As a member of our team, you will aim high, embrace challenges and always do what’s right; acting with integrity and building trust as you contribute to the company’s technical direction and long term decision making.. Reporting to head of FX, you will:. Build out and development of the Francophone Africa FX business. Accurate execution and confirmation of FX trades on behalf of WR including Francophone Africa currencies and G10 (spot, Forward & options). Handle other market currencies when called upon.. Maintain accurate records of panel quotes and seek deeper and better priced liquidity. . Working extensively with commercial, network & finance partners to drive existing and new business opportunities. Developing and maintaining relationships with banks and liquidity providers to ensure competitive FX pricing within the region, becoming the first point of contact in the region.. Travel as needed  to develop ‘onshore’ commercial relationships. Develop the region to become a significant contributor to the Global Treasury P&L. Create & deliver FX content for commercial presentations. Build and document FX / commercial opportunities to senior management. Ensuring that FX / Treasury risks are managed effectively in the region. Maintaining a close relationship with Treasury through regular interactions to ensure seamless operational processing of FX deals. Following up with partners and liquidity providers on timely settlement of funds.. What we’re looking for from you. +3 years experience in FX or global financial markets businesses.. Strong business development & negotiation skills / experience. Strong understanding of African local FX markets, in particular BEACO, & regulatory environments / conventions especially in the Francophone region. . Understanding and or experience of cross border payments. Experience implementing and running risk management systems and techniques. Analytical and logical approach to problem solving.. Proven competitive drive to achieve results. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English . Ability to build effective working relationships at all levels. Ability to communicate complex information effectively. ACI Dealing certificate
